Yo Nate. Minor interesting issue. When reading my feeds, the "Mark as read" button can take several minutes to take effect, and decrease the unread number. Where as, when clicking on "Mark all read" it will take a max of 30 seconds.

Site is awesome. Say hi to Doug for me as well. Mine bro JD referred to the site, and am loving using it. Lemme know if there is any testing or more info you need from me.

I've signed up to so many RSS sites, just looking for something to errr.. read my RSS feeds. You have truly boiled the app down to the bare minimum and in the process created one of the best RSS sites around. The simplicity is genius.

Greg,

Whoa, that's weird! The floating unread count is already fixed for a coming update. It looks like Opera doesn't like the javascript fade effect for longer posts or posts with images. I'll work on this.

I am a new user, created an account, uploaded subscriptions from Bloglines, all successfully loaded - then the problems began. On the main page the # of unread feeds per subscription began "floating" and as I scrolled down the page the # of unread feeds per subscription scrolled up and off the page. When I returned to the "home" position, the # of feeds per subscription were gone. Also, when I selected a subscription - say Boing Boing - the unread feeds display was very dark, barely readable. I tried posting this to the Forums but was unable to login. Just thought you'd like to have the feedback. Browser used was Opera 9.0.

Just wanted to say thanks for a very nice product. Got a few things that need improving (which everyone has already told you about), but I'm enjoying the experience. I've been using Google Reader for a few months now - it too is a little rough around the edges but I like it's simplicity and of course the dynamic UI. Newshutch kicks its butt and I'm a convert. Good job.

What is this? A Beta license scheme or something?

Do not put a Beta sticker next to your logo - I find it almost as an admission of defeat, you know: "We are Beta, so any problem or complaint you might have is because we are in Beta".

I'd be more inclined to tell you about bugs I find, or suggestions I have if I though I was using a production-ready app rather than a test version.

Touting a release as Beta is a gimmick, just like those awful pixel-advertising schemes.

We need more shepherds than sheep.

Speed is definitely noticeable, ... so this must mean those new features are coming soon, right? ;-)

First let me assure you that I'm one of the very pleased users of your fine app. Good ambassador for RoR.

I have a suggestion.

Since this app is so new and that's it's free anyway, why don't you put a beta caption next to logo, just as Google does. Thus if other glitches take place in the next couple weeks or months, people won't be aggravated by it.

Keep up the good work.
