    Ry, we went with LayeredTech.

    We almost went with EV1, but they totally dropped the ball. I was ready to give them money, but when I hit submit on their sales form all I got was a blank error page. So I called them and they said “Our website is out of date, we have a whole new server lineup.” I had further questions via email, but EV1’s answers were slow and inadequate.

    LayeredTech’s sales people were much better. It took longer for them to provision the servers than I would have liked, but we added some custom stuff like RAID (finally!). Every time I bugged their support people they were quick to respond and forthcoming with info.

    Bottom line, if a company can’t even treat you right before the sale when they are trying to get into your wallet, how will they behave AFTER the sale?
